Dr. William Franklin has obtained formal and on-the-job education in health, fitness, rehab, athletic optimization and natural medicine for 25 years. After graduating from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor of science in Exercise Science, William completed coursework for a master of science in Exercise Physiology with additional courses in Nutrition and Behavioral Medicine.  He then completed a doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Az.  Dr. Franklin is a Board certified and licensed primary care physician in the state of Arizona (#10-1196).

While at ETSU, Dr. Franklin took 3 years away from career studies to pursue interests in pottery, philosophy, religious studies and pre-Columbian American history. Other interests include sustainable living practices, backpacking, bicycling, bouldering, martial arts, and reading. These days, people call that ADD!

Dr. Franklin loves that Naturopathic Medicine requires him to be a student of life rather than of disease. He feels fortunate to combine all of his interests into one unique practice in which he teaches his patients how their food, air, water, touch, movement, rest, thoughts, beliefs, spirit, and relationships affect health and function.  These days, he’s enjoying the very rewarding experience of fatherhood.  Say hello to Nathan here.
