You aren’t required or even capable of really changing yourself. The harder you try, the worse life will seem to get. You aren’t broken, there’s nothing to fix. You don’t need to achieve anything to be healthy and well.
At the heart of the matter, the real changes are in how you think about yourself. By discovering your limitations and then overcoming them, you learn to be your own hero. And that, for most of us, is the biggest change of all.
